first off, though a song can give you insight there is no better time to listen to your own mind about what you should do than now.A song is just another persons perception as to what they did or think should be done.We don't know you and we don't know your man, so its hard for us to give you good advise about something that is not of general context.
Look, If you love him and want him to be the one than spend some time talking to him about what you both in vision for that moment.I am sure you both will come up with a suitable time and scenario for you both.

I think the whole issue of virginity is taken out of proportion by a way too many people in our society. I don't think anyone can lose virginity unless they are raped; you are giving up your virginity to gain something in return and that is the commitment from your partner to love and cherish for the life. If it is done before the marriage ceremony of before is immaterial.

I had a friend that was 22 and a virgin, she wanted to have sex so bad she went on myspace and found someone that she thought she "loved" they met and had sex. Well her parents wanted her to wait till marriage, so she married the guy, she regrets it. Hes a loser, with no money, no nothing. Been sleeping with all kinds of girls. But she married him because she didn't want to disapoint her parents. Just because he says hes going to marry you, don't give it up! Save it for the actual night of the marriage. It means more trust me. Because what if you give it up to him, he got what he wanted, and then leaves.

I think if you are in a steady healthy relationship it is perfectly normal to have s-e-x. But if it is with a stranger or a one night stand....or an unhealthy relationship you will regret it. You are a unique special person and you deserve to have s-e-x with someone who will appreciate what you give them.
