I think it is spelled IRAQ, and my nephew was stationed there for over a year.
From speaking with him and his fellow troops, I think we are doing some great things there that the media refuses to report. He told us that the people there are mainly peaceful and that they are grateful we are there. He said that the fundamentalists are the danger, but that we are winning.
Since I have not been there myself, I believe what he and his friends tell me more than I believe the biased media coverage.

The consequences of defeat would be very grave.
The US and the Iraqi government need to win against the terrorists. And the Iraqi people need to get it together - only a small number are fighting, but that's bad enough.

First of all it's Iraq,secondly it's a conflict, and thirdly It's a situation we have been placed in for many reasons,but ,under informed,is probably the greatest one, especially the part about what these long-time opponents would do,if Saddam was removed....I guess we now know, a little late,however
