question was "you get for christmas gifts" posted in P &S.
I simply wanted to know what the big seller was this Xmas.
And I get a freaking violatoin notice.
I HAVE protested and all i get back is an automated thing. My points are NEVER returned!
Guess I should stick to asking about masturbation and blow jobs. That is apperently ok with yahoo, because THOSE questions are on here CONSTANTLY!!!!

I'm with you on that one i think yahoo isn't fair about the questions being posted but put something disgusting and it gets thru I'm beginning to think this site isn't worth coming to anymore or even try to post a question without the worry of getting a violation Ive also put innocent questions Ive been given a violation 4 times with good questions so it makes me wonder are there adults running this or kids

I received a violation notice today for just honestly, answering a question pertaining to younger, single mothers and how the majority of them do not receive a college education before 25. I though it was absurd to make such an assumption and responded accordingly, but I presume some people cannot take an opposition to opinion and are too quick to write someone off if they do not share the same views...I think this violation garbage is too outrageous because some people get too offended too quickly & are too fast to hit report....Just because you do not like the content of the question or answer doesn't mean that it should be automatically reported. I mean there are many instances where it is justified considering some of the dumb ****es that are found on here posting garbage, but if you can tell that there was no intent of offending or that someone was purely just asking or answering a question, there should be some sort of respect for one's freedom of speech. Take care and good luck and know you are not the only one who finds this kind of preposterous.

Yep, the trolls are out. Basically those who bah-hum-bug questions for what ever reason. Yahoo's system basically allows anyone to report abuse on any question...however there is no-one who checks it to see if it was a valid abuse, and protesting violations are pointless as well. What's even worse is that there isn't a statute of limitations in how far back a person can go to report abuse on you. It's messed up.

in case you handle a query to a particular individual, this is chatting. in case you talk personalities of the individuals right here, that is considered chatting. As to why human beings care, i don't be attentive to. that is technically a contravention of community regulations, yet i think of that is lots greater probably which you have aggravated somebody for motives that have no longer something to do with the "chatting" designation. or in line with threat that is because you have been chatting approximately them? or in line with threat because you weren't chatting approximately them! Who is conscious? basically study the community regulations as quickly as greater and are available to a determination which you will stay so some distance from violating them that if it does take place which you get pronounced, you could attraction effectively. BTW, i do no longer think of the words in the community regulations are the only reason human beings checklist. Or they study them very in yet in any different case than I do. I basically checklist if a query or answer is lots over the proper.

Yahoo, like life, isn't fair. I rarely read my violation notices anymore, because 9 out of 10 of them are ridiculous. But then I know I have questions and answers that stay all the time despite being obvious violations of the TOS so, it all evens out I suspect.

Don't lose any sleep over the violations, angel.
EVERYONE has received them for asking/answering very banal things.
There's no reason to the violations given by the folks at Yahoo Answers.
You'll just get migraines thinking about it.

I think they are going overboard with violations again because of the trolls, unfortunately they are attacking perfectly fine questions. I just posted one with an actual poll and it still hasn't posted & I'll probably be getting a notice for it. This is ridiculas

lol, I totally understand your frustration... I received one today because I asked what's the most bizarre gift you received this Christmas... and yes, oddly enough questions with adult content always pass...

I totally agree. My question about "What kind of dog do you have?" got my old Level 4 account suspended!
