Why dont their leaders do the job to show the young people how its done???

The leaders are cowards. They will convince a bunch of young men/boys that 72 virgins wait for them if they blow themselves up. All this in countries where women are repressed and the laws are so restrictive that one could go to jail for public displays of affection. Just what do these men/boys think they will do with 72 virgins? It goes to show the power of hormones and how the educated few will take advantage of the ignorant.

That is a good concept. However suicide bombers are motivated by hate and ignorance. Therefore are easy pawns of manipulation. Leaders have the highest probability to be able to manipulate people. A hate filled person who lets his hate blind his reason becomes ignorant, thus a leader bent on fulfulling his agenda has an easy pawn to work with.

Well, I would assume that these leaders are the "so-called" messengers. The messengers are the communicators of the "holiness'" will. Thus, they have to stay alive to share the message. (May it be about death/destruction or wonderful teachings)
I'm just assuming. I have no idea why they're not the ones doing the job.

The same reason that all leaders just don't duke it out, instead of letting all these young men and women die. I support our troops, but I will be glad to see them home. I weep for all the families who have lost their children so young.

But then there would be no more Suicide Bombers, and they would have to convert to TALKING, and the outcome would be peace.

They get underlings to do it so that they themselves will still live and can organize more attacks against established countries.
