I absolutely adored Freddie and I wouldn't like to see his life story entrusted to any actor other than Johnny Depp who is renowned for his versatility and for never shortchanging a role. If Brian May believes he's the man, then that's good enough for me

Johnny Depp would be perfect! He's very versatile and weird. He was great in the chocolate factory movie. He will soar as Freddie Mercury!

I've never seen Johnny Depp screw up a role...playing Freddie Mercury is a tall order though, not to be taken lightly...probably very hard.
