90210 is a zip code within Beverly Hills. It happens to be in the business area including Rodeo Dr., Camden, etc. Beverly Hills is not part of Los Angeles. All Los Angeles zip codes start with 900.

i have got a huge zip code book, that was a interesting question.
so i looked, there are allmost 500 zip codes in beverly hill's.
most streets and even buildings and hotels and motels, have their own zip code. 90210 is found in there, under:

beverley hills hotel's, professional buildings, streets, postmaster
and apartment buildings.
theres about a 100 or more i seen in there.
beverley hills starts with:
90210
and ends with:
90212
thanks for the interesting question

yes it is. For example the Bronx is a small borough in NYC. But its part of NYC it just gets distinguished. Just like we are the USA and we live in a region for example the east, and then the state for ex NJ and then the county for ex Hudson than the city for ex Jersey city and so on. That's how that is figured out.
