With no detail offered beyond "I WANNA" what is your motivation, idea, agenda in an end result? ETC.

I've been "writing" since I learned how, 50 plus years ago, and have "Published."

My resource material was taken from journals, kept for dozens of years.

With no real offense meant, the Q is inane, though I'd be glad to advise.

Before YOU, or anyone begins a journey like this, you better gauge your passion against all other aspects of your life. If this is your beginning, I suggest you TRY, but YIKES!!!

Writing a book takes years of learning the whole process, including some kind of writing class to learn the basics and a major amount of rewriting and editing. You would also have to work on your spelling and grammar. Editors will not even touch a book if you don't have your basics first.

If you want to write it, then just start writing. It's that simple. Publishing is a whole different thing and quite a hard task that takes educating yourself on the topic.

Writing should be done for the love of the whole writing process, not with the goal of publishing. That may or may not come later.

First thing you need to do is learn how to spell. Reading a lot helps. It is obvious that you do neither very well. I'm not knocking, just advising. Don't rely on a spell checker.
Once you write your book, put it away and forget about it for a few months. No peeking!
Then take it out and read it as if you didn't write it. Then edit. Don't be afraid of crossing out whole pages if you need.
Between writing and reading, get this book: The Writer's Market for 2007. Find and agent there, or at www.agentquery.com.

Best of luck on your adventure!
Peace!

You need to have an idea for a book before you start writing. Nobody just "writes"...

And, honestly, everyone goes through the process differently. One good way to get started is to post on something like www.fictionpress.com , read other people's ideas, and accept other people's criticisms. But first, you have to come up with a story, an idea that truly and honestly comes from you. Something that's personal to you that you truly feel you can write about.

Create a character that you love, that you can relate to, that faces hardships and learns from them. Good characterization, in my opinion, is the most important step. Everything else should come naturally.

Believe me, writing a book takes time. To ever consider publishing at this point in the game is unnecessary.

Just go for it!

I suggest that you purchase 1818 Ways to Write Better and Get published by Scott Edelstein... It is very helpful. Also, it depends on which country you live in... In the US, it is difficult. It's easier if you have experence in writing and a literary agent for easier publishing. The book is really good.... Good Luck!!!

I don't want to appear negative but I really think you need to brush up on your spelling and grammar before you undertake such a project.
