You didn't make a single spelling error but two grammatical ones in that sentence. It looked intentional. I would say you are either lazy or intentionally faking. My guess is that you are just bored today. Perhaps you can make a better effort and come up with a deeper question later.

Classroom structure is not for everybody. It's highly unlikely that you are dumb. For some reason, you have decided not to apply yourself.
In this society - the way things pretty much work - is that you do well in school - and then if you want to make the big bucks and have the big success you go to college. There are exceptions - like Rappers and Dancers and some Athletes who make it to the top without an education - but these are - as I said EXCEPTIONS to the rule. The chances that you will be successful without a good education - are slim.
Now - by success I mean - big house, nice car - vacations - etc. If those things are not important to you - and you are okay living in an apartment (with room mates who you may or may not like) and having cheap furniture and driving a used car - then that is a perfectly acceptable choice. You can work retail or stand by the side of the road and swing one of those signs pointing people in the direction of a restaurant or furniture store or whatever. Or maybe you will clean the public restrooms somewhere. Or if you're lucky - you can work at Starbucks and make about $10.00 an hour and stand on your feet all day. These are more than likely the type of jobs you will get if you don't do well in school and get an education. It's just how our society works
So - your grades in school do not mean you are smart or dumb. What they do mean is whether or not you chose to follow societies rules of success. Usually the "smart" people make the choice to do what's necessary in order to be successful in life. Maybe you'll learn that lesson later.
Good luck.

Hi MIchelle,
I am a High School teacher and what I see often, and this may not be the case with you, are students who are bright enough but do not give their best effort or complete all of their work.
Do you do all of your classwork? All of your homework? Prepare thoroughly for your tests?
I have explained many times to my students that they earn 25 points per day for their in class work, and many still do not do it. If they skip the classwork for 6 or 7 days or more that drops them a full grade. Doing well on the test alone will likely bring them a D. Right now their job is school and if they treat school responsibily, like they would a real job, they must do all of their work and they will do well. High School requires more responsibility. You will not pass by just being there.
Think of your goals. Do you want to graduate? Picture what that will be like and what it will mean... then picture what you have to do between now and then to get there. Take it seriously because it really does affect the rest of your life greatly.
Go and do well, take pride in yourself and realize success in life isn't handed to you. Think of those you admire and what they do.
Have a good break then go get 'em.

You do not really explain WHY you have such a low average. So many factors could be involved, but I would suggest that if you are not happy with your grades you should make an appointment with a school counselor. Figure out what you are doing wrong and get a plan on how to improve. You are not dumb! If you want to change your grades then change your approach. You can do it if you want it bad enough. (it will not be easy, but stick with it)

Straight D's do not automatically make you dumb but it does mean that you will need more help with your work when you enter college.
