i think you'll find that gay and bi men are more willing and likely to express their emotions. we don't conform to what society tells us to be like. if we want to be girly and emotional, then that's exactly they way we are.

but in general, most men feel pressured into acting the way "men are supposed to act" according to society.. that being, tough, aggressive, sexual, and emotionless.. really sad if you ask me.


and even worse, women have been taught that they need to be with a man who possesses these rough qualities.. most women will dismiss a sweet sensitive man out of this belief that they aren't being manly enough..

I don't have any problems showing what I feel.
And when it comes to love not at all.
But since society looks differently on showing gay affection in the streets I keep it low key,but it is obvious to anyone that me and my boyfriend are an item,not two separate people at all.

Because women are more likely to be ignored and made invisible, and possibly socially ostracized or harassed, but men are more likely to get physically beaten up / killed.

Societal restrictions. It's considered taboo for men and boys to show emotion, unfortunately.

maybe they don't want to displease you so they are afraid to show because they don't want to make you feel bad or uncomfurtable.
