Hello, we moved from Almaty, Kazakhstan to US! It's a very beautiful city. If you are going to go there you have to visit Medeo (huge ice ring) and Chimbukak (snow station avalanche) Visit parks " Memorial - 28 soldiers Panfilovtsi" , "Gorkov park", just stop by the places like Orthodox Church, Masque, Opera House, Ramstore - a great store to spend some time, and don't forget to go to the open market. There are a lot of other things too. About the food, I really like the "American Bar and Grill", "Tropicana", "Line Brew", "Golden Ring"...

Hope this will give you an idea....

Oh, there is a place Koktube (the hill with the TV tower) last year it still was closed, but they might have opened it. So check that out to see the panorama of the city.

Have a nice trip... :)
