Okay man, I just answered another of your later questions about a blouse. I really don't think you want to open that can of worms. I bought my friend (not girlfriend, just good, casual friend) a skirt and a hot tank top and a sweater for her birthday. I thought I was going to be the sweet guy who's in touch with his fashion side or whatever. Dude. GINORMOUS MISTAKE. Nobody said anything about it, but she didn't dig it. I found the outfit on HER friend at church later that year. It was totally wrong. I don't know if the fit was right (I talked to her best friend and got her sizes) or whatever. The best option for you, in my opinion, is a gift card with oodles of money on it so she can shop for herself, or jewelry if you're serious, or Chanel No. 5. Period.
I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but unless you REALLY want to do this, I advise against it.

In things sized small, medium, I'd get a small petite or small. She is really short so you should probably look for petite clothing for her. As far as a real size like 2,4,6 thats almost impossible to know without knowing her measurements. I'd try to stick with something stretchy cuz of the lack of info you have.

I'm 5'1 and 135 lbs, but I would say a size 5 or 7 (I can fit into 7s and 9s)

I cant help you with that one I am 4"8 and 88 lbs and I am in collage but I would just ask her for her dress size......

im 5'1'' and weigh 134 and i wear a size seven in jeans and medium in dress size and shirt size.. so i think you are fine with whatever says medium on it.
