My engagement ring 35yrs ago was white gold and I've never stopped loving it. I bought myself a white gold solitaire in the Caribbean 2 yrs ago and how beautiful was that? Yellow gold varies so much from country to country and some gold can look real tacky in colour, even tho you may have spent a fortune.
Another plus to white gold is that when on holiday in another country, where you're told not to wear jewellery, white gold can be mistaken for silver so no one thinks its worth stealing from you!!
At the end of the day you choose whatever you prefer and you will know the minute you see it. You're the one who's going to be wearing it for a lifetime hopefully. xx

White gold is really nice, these days you can get white gold and gold jewellery combined in the design.

I personally prefer white gold - but it depends what other jewellery you wear. If most of your things are yellow gold, then you could stick with that so things match. I do wear silver and gold jewellery together, so it isn't that big a deal.
But I like white gold.
Isn't he lovely!

I think gold jewellery looks dated these days.... I won't wear it (I'm 26) and even my 54 year old mum has switched to silver and white gold...
I would therefore definitely say white gold. Looks modern but classy.
