I do and I agree it depends on the situation. If I am with a group of 3-6 friends then yes I do. At a huge party not so much.
I am also alone in a new city and crave attention whenever I am alone. But if I have been hanging out with my friends for several days I am kinda tired of fighting for attention.

Ok,I'm being honest here so here goes. YES. I never get any attention in school. When I'm lying down on my bed at home,I always imagine myself singing on a stage....sigh...
But just like you,it depends on the situation.

Not any more. I did when I was younger and got burned out on it. Now I'm happy to be just another face in the crowd. BUT, just like in the movie Carlito's Way, 'Every time I try to get out, they just keep pulling me back in.' or something very similar to that.
Nowadays, I don't really have to look for attention, because like trouble, it somehow keeps finding me, whether I want it or not.

yes I do. after paying attention to others, trying to be there for them, and attempting to be a good friend and help,..there are the times, when you strongly feel that it is time to get back a good amount of attention to your needs as well.
