A tilted uterus would not eliminate the possibility of her becoming pregnant. I have a tilted uterus and I have 5 kids. The scarred tubes would be the major factor. The thing is it would cost you a lot of money to use another woman. Why would you want to. I would see a fertility specialist. You wife should still be able to carry a child herself unless there are other medical issues that were not mentioned. I am sure that they would recommend invitro-fertilization. It is expensive and it may take more than one try. If you were to use someone else your wife would still have to have to inject herself with shots to stimulate her ovaries, her eggs would have to be harvested, fertilized, grown for a few days in the lab and then inserted into the other woman. Why not insert them back to your wife. This procedure is expensive 10,000-25,000 (depends on where you go). If you have insurance it may cover some or most of the treatment. I would look into this option first. I had my tubes tied after my 4th child. I divorced and re-married. Since my tubes were blocked with scar tissue (reversal did not work) we did IVF. I now have a two year old son. (so I had blocked scared tubes and a tilted uterus). I hope that this helps. (also, did she have an HSG to confirm the blocked tubes? Sometimes they can remove scar tissue with surgery).

A tilted uterus has nothing to do with ttc. My sister has one and has 3 children. She never had a problem getting pregnant. I have a tilted uterus also and have one child. I have asked my OB about certain positions to help me conceive faster, but he said that is not my problem. Anyway, the scarred fallopian tube is most likely the problem. If you aren't getting straight answers from your doctors, maybe you should try a fertility specialist. You could try IVF. The cost is about $10,000, but there is financing options for it. My fertility specialist recommend fertilitylifelines.com for my FSH injections. They also have information about IVF and I believe they can recommend a good fertility specialist in your area. I think it's great that you are trying to get information since your wife is very emotional right now. So many women blame themselves when they can't get pregnant. It's so important to have a supportive spouse. I wish you all the best.

My uterus is tilted all the way back (like almost flipped completely around) and I've got 2 children. (my problem in concieving was due to PCOS, not the uterus).
My fertility specialist said that in order to concieve with a uterus that is titled or flipped the woman will need to lay on her belly with her hips elevated immediatly after sex for at least 10 min (if not already in that position when ejaculation takes place.) This helps the sperm get over the tilt easier and get to where they need to be.
As for the scarring on her tubes, I know many women who have that and still got pregnant. Are they both scarred?
You could always ask your dr about IUI. Its not nearly as invasive or expensive as IVF. They simply wash your sperm and put it up in her cervix at ovulation time.

A typical Surrogacy Program including all of the surrogate's fees and expenses, medical expenses, legal expenses, and administrative expenses will cost an aggregate amount of approximately $60,000 U.S. Depending on the actual costs for your selected surrogate, fertility clinic, and attorney, the overall cost could be less or more than this estimated amount.
