Most PEOPLE want to marry who they think or feel they love more than anything. A person who they want to be with forever. OR they want to marry for money OR because they feel that they're getting too old. None of your reasons make sense.

To answer the question you posted...no...you shouldn't marry someone even if you loved someone more in the past. It's not fair to the person you are marrying, marriage is a promise made between 2 people and you should be giving your love to that person.Otherwise it's just not meant to be and sooner or later one or more people in the marriage is going to start complaining about falling out of love or not being satisfied and then cheating begins, and the next thing you know you're on yahoo answers wondering if you should get a divorce and how to get one.

Guys give as much thought to the matter of whom to marry as girls do if they're smart. Appropriate age, stability, suitable mate, none of that matters if you're not in love with the person. Marriage is hard work when the two people are right for each other. It's a recipe for disaster if the reasons for getting married are wrong to start with. Most of us are not special enough to overcome a divorce and/or bad marriage, so the choice of potential marriage partners is extremely impt.

I know what you're asking. You're asking if guys marry for compatability and convenience once they reach that age when they want to settle down.
The guy who's been wild and crazy until he's had one too many aunts asking him when HE'S going to get married. I mean, after all, he's over thirty, and if he doesn't start a family NOW, he may not get a chance to.
Yes, there are some guys out there like that, but not any who you would want to marry. If you don't feel like you're the most important thing in their life, you're probably not. If they're in a hurry to talk about having kids and getting married, they probably feel like their time is running out for both things.
Most men will wait until they meet the one girl they can't live without, though, if it's any consolation.

This is a very good question. I fell madly in love with someone and was with them for three years and I asked them to marry me. We parted, her decision. Now going on 4 years later I do not even have the desire to date, much less get married. I loved her with all my heart and soul so I do not really see me ever getting involved with someone else. Time may still change things but I have my doubts.
Nothing but love to you.

I can’t tell you whom you loved more, love was of the moments and memories. Ask yourself where do you see yourself in a few years from now, also why did the last relationship end? If it was meant to be harsh as it sound then you would be together. You need to learn to move on an love yourself before you can even love anyone else. The past is the past. Do you also want to ruin the possibility of happiness and love from a memory?

The love you will feel after being married 10 years is totally different from the love you feel now.

I would think that most people would prefer to marry the person they love the most, but when that person doesn't have mutual feelings then you tend to settle for whoever will take you.
I think there are ideals and I think there is reality...

Living with the past memories do no good. Expecting betterin the future is good but not certain.
If You have an opportunity at present, think logically and take your decision.

There's a reason the term 'love of your life' is used for your spouse. If you loved someone more, then the person you're with is not right for you.
