in the box that it came in, there should be a disk that contains itunes. set that up and you can download songs from itunes or use a free music downloader to get songs on itunes. Then you connect the ipod to the computer with the usb cable, and then it will update your ipod

Thats an easy one.
I am new with Ipods but have learned a lot on the old generation Ipods.
1.) You can upload Music mp3 files directly from your music cd's. Pup em into your computer or laptop.
2.) Load the Itune software up and it will automatically pull them up.

you have to hook it to your computer modem and download songs. My kids got one for christmas
