emo rox. plus, guys its not goth. taking back sunday is mostly emo. did that change anything?

what the hell is emo? is it the new goth or what? cause when i was growing up, goth kids werent all wussy and afraid of their feelings... they were harda.sses with an attitude of "i'll kick your as.s rather than look at you" now the way i understand it, Emo is derived from Emotional, which in turn fits right in with the genre of "emotional rock" like Death Cab for Cutie, Modest mouse, The Smiths, Morrisey(I hate the smiths and steven Morrisey-Ween) Shilac, Big Black.. bands like these, i thought it pretty much died with the "mod" movement a few years ago.. .... The All american rejects is what my teenie bopper little sister listens too... I thought they were along the lines of Good Charlote, Simple Plan and the likes... So no they are not emo.. they are PoP Punk RaWk LoL

When I think All American Rejects I definitely don't think Emo Rock. What a weird category to put their music under.

All American Rejects gets classified as emo for some reason. I think they're more pop rock like you, but because they came out with the emo rock revolution, they get lumped into that.

okay, my friend said that all american rejects are emo. i disagree. he said on TV it said it. so most likely the same channel. okay, there songs are what the play in the little girls store Limited Too, they hardly wear black, no guy-liner at all, the hair cut is just plain. and many more. how did they get sucked into this emo phase? and most bands that are claimed to be emo actually disagree and say " we are not emo". here is links below of a interview of brendon urie ( lead singer of panic at the disco) and one of the links he actually says " were not emo". i think they are crazy...wait its the very beginnig of clip two that he says were not emo...

a million. each and every AFI album 2. The Casualties - under attack 3. The conflict - wrestle Rock 4. The Ramones s/t 5. The Misfits - walk between Us of path, there's a ton greater for me. those are in simple terms (5) or greater with type a million, yet some to respond to the question. 2. Having been in a band myself for a pair years, I even have lots an appreciation for music and that i've got one in each and every of those dedication to my customary bands that i actually am keen on all songs and all albums by employing them. fantastically my favourites that i'll consistently help.
