i am an owned submissive.

i am not sure if being "owned" in the BDsM community would be considered the same as Boyfriend/girlfriend relationships in the vanilla world. i feel safe with my Master that is not a concern.

Does anyone have an opinion?

However, if you want to comment on my lifestyle choice, please save your speaches. You will not change my mind.

If your master meets all your needs and the relationship is as fulfilling for you as it is for your master, then there is no difference. A vanilla relationship just has different boundaries.

yay! BDSM question!

Alright, so, in Vanilla, there is usually no reoccuring S&M and.. D/s going on. Meaning, one partner does not dominate (to the extreme of BDSM) the other. It's usually more equal, and less kinky.

In BDSM, depending on the relationship, it's not as equal. The Dom/Master will always top, and the sub/slave will always submit.

I'm a submissive too, and I've explained it all to my friends, telling them that my Doms dominate, but... I didn't explain more than that. The word "dominate" works pretty well to explain it.

If you are happy with the life you are leading who am I to judge that?
And about the vanilla relationships:it differs.
I think even that the understanding between you and your master lasts longer than the average relationship.
Just because you fill each others needs.
And that is lacking in vanilla relationships a lot.
Happy new year to you.
greetings:Rob.xxx.

Well, it's a commitment; it's a sharing of lives. I think the concept of "owned" might be a tough one in the vanilla world. But it's probably just semantics; people "own" others and want to be owned in all sorts of ways. So, it probably translates into a bf/gf or relationship, or at least as close as is possible.

i am an uncollared submissive, in a relationship with a Dom. For all nilla questions He is my boyfriend and seems that is good enough. For those that want more details i will explain a little about D/s but most dont really care.
