It's most likely correct...congrats to you! It's very rare that you will get a false positive...false negatives can happen from testing too early, but generally those tests are really accurate...and if you took three of them and are feeling nauseated than I bet you are pregnant!
"Morning sickness" and throwing up don't happen to everyone...many people don't throw up but just feel queasy, and some don't even have that symptom (lucky them!!!) Everyone is different when it comes to early pregnancy signs. I didn't start feeling much of anything until I was almost two months along. Definitely call your dr and schedule your first prenatal appt. If you are super concerned tell them and they can get you a blood pregnancy test that will tell you 100%. Also, make sure you are taking a good quality prenatal vitamin so that you do get your nutrition even while you aren't feeling so well!

A pregnancy test works like this...when a sperm meets the egg and a embryo is formed, the female body produces a hormone called HCG or human chorionic gonadotropin. This hormone is what makes a pregnancy test read positive. A pregnancy test can not read positive unless the HCG hormone is in a woman's system. Therefore, you can not get a false positive pregnancy test, unless your test was broken, or unless you were just recently pregnant and you still have small amounts of HCG in your system.
HCG is detected in your blood and your urine. When you take a HPT or home pregnancy test, you urinate on the testing stick and in under 5 minutes you get a quick result. Usually in the form of a color change.
Now, if you accurately followed the HPT directions and you are 4-7 days past your missed period, then you should get accurate results, as pregnancy tests are 95% accurate (assuming you are in fact pregnant) It is important to know that hpt's, when done too early will indicate you are not pregnant, when in fact you really are. This mistake occurs because your hcg (remember that hormone I talked about?) is too low and it goes undetected. That is the reason some test results that are negative are more often wrong than test results that are positive. HPT's are only a screening, and if your test result is negative, and you have symptoms of pregnancy, please consult your health care provider for further testing. They can take it a step further, and do a blood test on you, which picks up the HCG at lower levels.
Please go see a doctor and confirm the diagnosis...it's best to know early. Good luck to you! :)

A pregnancy test can give a false positive, but I doubt that three pregnancy tests will give a false positive. Additionally, not all pregnant women throw up during their first trimester...you may just be one of the lucky ones that does not. The best way to know if you are pregnant or not is to go to the doctor for a blood test, those tests are foolproof. Good luck!!!

those tests are 99% accurate. Some woman don't have normal symptoms of pregnancy, if any at all. I would go to the doctors and get a blood test, but more than likely if you missed your period and the test is positive, your pregnant.

I've had a false positive before, but if you are only basing your denial on the fact that you aren't throwing up then you might want to rethink that. Morning sickness doesn't always happen right away and everyone handles it differently. Make an appointment to see your OB to confirm your pregnancy and start your prenatal care. Congratulations and Good Luck!

Yes they can be wrong (hence why the packets say 99.9 % accurate e.t.c).
You don't have to be throwing up to be pregnant - I have a friend who didn't experience any morning sickness/vomiting at all.
See a Doctor - the only way to confirm 100% is by doing a blood test.

If you had 3 test done and they are all positive,then you are PREGNANT,you don't have to have morning sickness or any of the common element's to pregnancy...I had 3 daughter's and was never sick 1 day! Go to your doctor to be 100% sure and be happy you are not throwing up LOL.
P.S->CONGRATS!!!

You're more than likely pregnant due to the fact that you've skipped your period AND have several positive pregnancy tests.
You should see your doctor for blood test confirmation.

Not everyone gets morning sickness. I never threw up with both of my children. If you don't have morning sickness, just consider yourself lucky. If you took three tests and they all came back positive, I'd say you are most likely pregnant. Call your ob right away and schedule your first pre-natal appointment. Avoid alcohol, hot tubs, and changing cat litter. Congratulations!
