Nyali beach, but its over crowded. I prefer Tanzania and more specifically Zanzibar. The beaches there are uncrowded, clean and miles and miles of white sandy beaches.

I stayed at the Hemmingways which is a beautiful hotel on the border of Watamu Marine Park. Kenya has possibly the best beaches in the world so you cant go wrong.
I went on a hot air balloon ride which was breath taking. We went over the Masai Mara so it was a bit of a trip from Mombassa but worth every second. You can also do short safaris and Dhow cruises.
take a visit to the Elephant orpahnage which is about 45 mins from Nairobi its about £50 per person.

I'm from Kenya and the best beaches by far are located in Mombasa! Stay at the Whitesands Beach resort and you will have a BLAST! It depends on what you are looking for though. Whitesand's beach is awesome for sunbathing and getting in the water, but also if you walk down it, it is very lively and full of people and music and food! But if you want something quieter and more romantic try the Bamburi beach hotel or Diani Reef. Either way Mombasa is the place and its soooo beautiful and hot!

I was deployed to Eastern Africa and we went to Kenya for a day and it was beautiful; very green. Never made it to the beach, though. Sorry.
