I saw a sample unit today at the mall and I thought it was quite impressive. I didn't get to see the pamphlet for it though, so if any of you know the best features of this phone, please do tell. It would be very much helpful as well if actual users of the Nokia 5300 would kindly drop a line or two about their experience with the phone. Please and thanks a heap! :)

The Nokia 5300 XpressMusic may well be the phone that Nokia needs to kickstart their entry into the music-inclined phone segment.

This phone will also be targeted at the higher-end market.

Nokia 5300 XpressMusic with its flashy and cute colours, it's definitely eye-catching. For those who don't like the flamboyant red and white combination, they can opt for the black and white variant.

If the bright colours are not enough, the excellent placements and layout of the dedicated music keys gives it a really fresh look, The Nokia 5300 definitely looks different from all other music phones . To top it all off, you get great built quality, Nokia's signature user-friendly firmware and superior audio playback quality.

This phone certainly offers value for money. Currently retailing at about RM 1000 without a service plan or USD 270 on Pricegrabber, it is a good buy. If you are looking for a Nokia music phone that is not too expensive, you should definitely take a look at the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic.

I don't know about the Nokia 5300 but my husband has the N70 and it's one of the most unmanageable phones I've ever used. The layout is seemingly bizarre, it turns itself off sometimes (although that may just be his!) and when you try and answer an incoming call it takes you straight to the text messaging menu. Give me a Sony Ericsson any day!

Nokia 5300 is impressive, in shortform it's great i its sound, size of screen, wonderful in its look (especially the red one), good camera, awful clors, fantastic with the music keys, great icons according to the other nokia phones' menu icons...etc.
