Yes , when I was a child, especially while walking in the skewed light causing protrusion of the shadow in peculiar shapes ! A shadow also makes one realize that everything in this world save our SELF, is illusionary and impermanent ! That way, a shadow carries lots of weightage too !

Yes! I am an adult and recently my shadow has scared me a few times. I don't remember this happening since I was a child.

No, but one time in my garage I saw the shadow of Aunt Jemima and while it didn't exactly scare me, it did thrill me, because I miss Aunt Jemima very much and would love to see her again, even if she was only in shadow form.

No, but I was very afraid of water when I was little - and I don't mean the bathtub or swimming, I mean silly things, like the sprinkler. I think my parents have me on camera running in terror from the sprinkler in my grandparents' backyard when I was 2 or 3. I have no idea why. I absolutely love the water now.

Once. I was expecting someone to come after me and I thought I saw them coming in the darkness out of the corner of my eye and sure enough it was my shadow.

Not my shadow . . .
but one time I was meditating and had this weird feeling someone was watching me. I continued to meditate, but the feeling only got more intense.
When I opened my eyes I was startled by someone sitting directly in front of me doing the same thing . . . apparently I had forgotten about the mirror I intentionally placed in front of me.
What didn't get cleared in meditation was frightened out of me from my own image.

My shadow has worried the hell out of me in the previous. i grew to become into strolling right down to a pals residing house one evening while a motor vehicle drove via me and gave my shadow alongside this fence the phantasm of strolling backwards. I flipped out for a 2nd then found out what it grew to become into.

Yes because sometimes when I'm walking around alone at night, it looks like someone is behind me when there really isn't...
