I do not know,
But an afraid that activist Judges like that will make laws against the will of the people to put forth their agenda.
If many of these contested social issues were put to a vote, the outcome would be decidedly differnet, these Judges know that, so they act against the will of the people.
I say, bring it to a national vote.

Probably the same as in the rest of our society.
On the other hand; I have never met a homosexual that wasn't VERY judgmental. (ie clothes, hair, fashion).
