I've never felt a need to be different but I have known for a very long time that I am different and I'm very comfortable with that. Some people like me and some people don't no big deal....I can't make everyone happy and a good friend once told me.... those who mind about me don't matter and those that matter in my life don't mind.

I just try to be myself most of the time. Every once in a while I like to try something a little different, but most of the time I am different enough just being myself.

I felt a need to be different when I was young and in high school... but now that I'm in my mid 20's, I just do my thing and some of it is strange and some of it is very mainstream. I've found a whole new world of cool things now that I don't care about my cool funky image anymore!

I'm just me. I don't feel a need to be different because that is just a need for attention. But I believe strongly that we shouldn't place our selves in boxes. Life is a complicated thing. Why should we expect labels and genres to fit?

I know I'm different. I don't feel the need to be different, it just happens to be that way. And I'm ok with it.

well obviously we are all different people, some people just choose to follow others; making themselves as much of a clone as they possibly can be. i think i am pretty true to myself, i find myself changing for different people, for example i act different around other friends. the only person I'm completely me is with my boyfriend.

Well everyone is different only people who are ego-tistical or self centered believe they are different in a better way. Check yourself or you may wreck yourself! People who are ego manics become very unhappy and always unsatisfied.

we are all unique,
the fault lay when one
thinks they need to be like
someone else, then the
false personality unfolds
creating an illusion of who
you are, before you realize it
the authentic you no longer
exist. I am just me, different
from the rest as they are different
from who i am, we are born with
our own essence and our personalities
manifest from what we see & experience,
when we try to see beyond ourselves
we mimic & fashion ourselves to fit in
trying to impress one another,
this pattern is everywhere.

No, I could not ever find the time to think about being different. I can hardly be myself with the time I've got.
