FINAL FANTASY is a computer game, as will most of the titles under FINAL FANTASY title. In the US you can Buy a copy of almost every Final Fantasy.
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and FF7: Advent Children are Movies.
There a 30 minute animé OVA about Zack from FF7 in Last Order -Final Fantasy VII-. Both Cloud and Tifa are seen, and Aerith is referenced, but not by name. Zack: "I got a place I can crash for a while. No wait, the mother lives there, too..."
Now the fun part: Final Fantasy Unlimited is a animé or cartoon, which spawned comic books, novels and two radio dramas. It's worth noting that only the animé has been seen in the US and UK, all the rest are Japanese.
There is 4 part video called: Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals in Japan. Currently in the US, It's only on VHS not DVD, and it not for sale at the moment on the US.
