Try washing it in very hot water WITH a cup of vinegar. The vin will help the shrinking process AND will keep the color if you don't want it to fade. Dry on high heat for 2 - 3 cycles.

Heat will shrink it in the washer and dryer, but will also fade it. Depending on how it's woven it may not shrink much or it may shrink a lot, but probably not two sizes. If you always wash and dry it on hot, the it will shrink more over time, but like I said it will probably fade, too.

Wash it and make sure to dry it in the dryer on high heat. Do it a couple of times if need be. It should shrink at least one size.

I suggest you fill you washing machine to the lowest water fill setting with hot water. Boil a couple pots of hot water on the stove and dump that in on top of the jacket in the washer, repeat this process in the rinse cycle and make sure that the water setting for rinse is on warm or hot as well. Dry the jacket on the hottest setting possible. Best of Luck!
