How to find complete happiness within yourself...how can one like themselves and doesn't feel like they need a man to complete them?? A little advice?

Learn to love you. Go to the spa, buy yourself a nice outfit, splurge on you! Life is to short to spend on trying to figure out what everyone else likes. You came into this world alone, and its the same way you will leave! I know its hard to grasp that, and trust me I'm not saying screw the world. All I'm saying is you won't find happiness anywhere else, until you find it in you. Good luck!

Now I might get voted down for this answer, but it is something that helped me a lot. So before anybody votes it down, please read the whole explanation.
The method: Read "The Satanic Bible" by Anton LaVey.
The explanation: I admit, I had trouble with other people in the fact that I let myself be treated as a doormat to make sure I projected a "nice" image. I felt that by being accepted, I was being a better person.
Not true. By being a doormat, by grabbing anybody who came by, I wasn't being complete.
On top of that, I wasn't happy with myself.
Earlier this year, though, I took a religious test that suggested I check out Satanism (which, BTW, is definitely not what most people think it is). It showed me that if I don't like somebody, I don't have to put up with them. It let me know that I am a person deserving of happiness.
Now, if that particular book is a little scary for you, you might want to start with Robert Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land." It contains some of the philosophy found in "The Satanic Bible," but in a more palatable form.

First you need to realize your self-worth. Look in the mirror and see the beautiful woman standing there. No one NEEDS a man, go out and live for yourself, get your own place, pay your own bills, know that you can do it.

Stay active and be useful. Read the book "God on a Harley." It's only 150 pages but I guarantee It will be an inspiration!
