I'll tell you what kevin could'nt or would'nt. Your plant is a tropical, think about how humid the tropics are, keep you plant in the same environment, moist soil,[less moist in the winter], mist it if you have it a dry hot room, put it in the shower once a month, let it drain a day and put it back in its place that night. Your sago want need fertilizer until spring un less you have it so it gets alot of sun during the day. Winter is a rest time for plants in the home. It will be best if you can have your sago near a window where it will get sun during the day, when summer comes be aware that the sago does not burn in front of a window, the sun rays are stronger and the leaves will burn.Sago palms can go pretty dry before you need to water them, so judge it by weight, lift it every other day, you'll know when it needs water, stick a wooden steak in the dirt check it everyday, if its dry near the bottom of the steak, then water, keep your plant dusted and wipe it with a damp cloth every once in a while this will help to keep spider mite off the plant and keep it clean. Remember if you live in an area where you have a winter let you plant rest, not so much water, no need for fertilizer. When summer comes bump up the water start to fertilize and give it some fresh air outside if possible[but not bright bright sun]. Hope this helps. Happy Growing

Sorry,
Do you need care instructions for indoor growing or outdoor growing? I'd be glad to help with indoor instructions if that is what you need.
By-the-by... Sago Palm
