Me and this girl are planning on getting married after college. We would be marrying sooner, but it seems best to wait. I haven't ever called her my girlfriend (We didn't date, we courted Neither of us have ever dated anyone else. Basic difference is that we weren't looking for a romantical relationship. We were just good friends for the longest time. Then, after we realized there was mutual interest, we started talking about where the relationship would go)
I haven't formally proposed and don't have a ring for her. We aren't even picking a date or talking about plans because it's still another 4-5 years away.
To call her my girlfriend underemphizises the commitment we have made. But it doesn't seem right to call her my fiance or say that we are engaged.
It is really awkward introducing her to friends and family without something to call her. Is there something that gives the best of both worlds?

We have already talked about it. She really dislike the whole girlfriend/boyfriend thing. She is just as lost as I am as far as what to refer to it as.
Everyone who knows us calls her my girlfriend because they see us holding hands, but they don't know about the deeper commitment.
