What you want to research is "socket programming" in Java. There's not too much to it, but there is a lot to understand before you just start pounding out the code. There is no "exact code" that you are asking for, because it depends on what you want your application to do and how you expect them to communicate. I suggest you start by getting a basic skeleton client and server working, and customize it from there.

I'd suggest doing some searching, for example on javaworld, and you'll find code examples and lessons on how to tie it all together.
