I think you can, especially if the ultra sound is good and the baby is cooperative:) Also, it's easier to find out the gender if you're having a baby boy. I had an ultra sound at 11 weeks and the tech said: "Wait and don't buy anything in blue, but it looks like a boy". My husband said he saw his little pee-pee:)))
So, YES, it's possible!

no.
not unless they were doing invitro surgery on the fetus.
usually by 14 weeks the genitles are pretty well formed, and by 15 weeks they can easily be seen on ultrasound, although telling the two genders apart at 15 weeks is pretty much a 50/50 since the vulva and lips of the vagina tend to look just like the penis and testicals until about week 18. Although today's machines are much clearer and results are much better than they used to be even at 15 weeks, with most people getting the right gender told to them.
By 20 weeks you can get an excellent reading via ultrasound.

With my last pregnancy i had twins. At 13 weeks i had a nucal translucency ultra sound done to detect any abnormalties.
They do this ultrasound vaginally. I was told then that i was having 2 boys. They told me they could see the sex of the babies because of the way they were laying and because it is a specialised ultrasound.
She was right i had 2 boys.....
They also could tell they were non identical...

Hi, I am a nurse in labor and delivery, and seeing miscarriages at 13 weeks gestation, it is very unlikely. The babies usually have to be around 16 (sometimes 15) weeks for us to tell. When I had my ultrasounds when pregnant, I had them at 17 weeks and they could tell both times that I was having boys. My doctor told me 16 weeks minimum to predict the sex by ultrasound. I'd say he was right. Good luck. :-)

not for certain, no. They can give you a guess, but it'll be a guess at best. 13 weeks is far too early to tell the baby's gender. They can usually tell at 18 to 20 weeks, which is almost two months away.

If you are speaking strictly via ultrasound? Probably not.
Usually you can find out closer to 17-20 weeks.
Congrats and good luck~

At this stage of pregnancy, the genitals are only starting to form, and will not be developed enough to tell. Genitals will be fully formed by 20 weeks, and then you can find out.

No. Not without a DNA test...their sexual organs are not entirely female or male yet at this point...
