what I want to ask is, even though it'll never be canon, has anyone spotted some might-be-might-not-be evidence??

Me right here me *waves hands around crazily* I'm a fan.
As for evidence there's so many hints here and there. Hint # 1(well not really a hint but you gotta admit is was so cool) is of course the all famous kiss. Hint # 2 the way sasuke protected Naruto during the haku arc. Hint # 3 Sasuke didn't kill Naruto when he had the chance even though that would have gotten him power. Hint # 4 (this is from the manga) when Orochimaru calles Sasuke "our" sasuke, Naruto gets very mad (forgot how many tails come out) and says "in my presence don't speak about Sasuke as if he belongs to you" did i mention he was VERY mad.
Hint # 5 (not really a hint either but I thought it was one of the cutest things in the world also from the manga) Naruto is training
and finds out his wind affinity is strong against lightning and weak against fire (if you noticed those are Sasukes affinities). Naruto says "so i got the right affinity for Sasuke" well his trainer (forgot his name) says "right, only wind can beat lightning." The cute part is what naruto says next " no I mean the only thing that can save a fire from dying and give it even more power is wind" that was just so cute I don't know why but it was. There's so many more hints but i can't remember right now.

im a huge fan of both naruhina and sasunaru but for me personally narusasu XD haha

Yeah why not... The kiss might've been taken a bit too well by some extremists... But I think it's cute.
