Who Said???

Hydrogen is the first element of the periodic table.
Its placed along with the s-block element.

Well this is a tough one - its got one valence electron so logically it should be there although as Hydrogen its a bit special and not exactly like the rest in its group - in many periodic table its placed separately and in the middle and above the others. Helium at least belongs with the other noble gases.

Hydrogen has a mysterious link with the Periodic Table. It is placed in many places in diff. tables.

It can be kept in Group I since it has only 1 valence electron but cant since it isnt a metal. It can be kept in Group VII since it can lose one electron with cant bcuz it isnt a halogen.

Therefore, in many cases, it is just placed sumwhere above of the D-Block Elements

of course hydrogen is not placed with d-block elements. In fact, it is placed on the top of the periodic table. It is not associated with any particular block, though it is placed with s-bock elements.
