ok, here is why they are mean. they meaning boys are wired completly different then girls in their brains, where we would be worried about hurting them, they turn mean to make you leave them alone. plus do not forget the influence of the boy-pals chances are they know he's breaking up with you and he would not want to appera sappy in front of them. i will tell you hun it is not the end of the world ignore him big time and i mean ignore do not be mean yourself that is key! just go about school or whatever and show him your heart is just fine and your attitude is fabulous he will wonder how you are getting by without him so well!

I think that they are soooo mean after a break up b/c they can not handle the fact that they no longer have you in their lives. I had a REALLY messy break up and he was a total *** to me but after we got all of our hate or resentment out (which took about 6 months) we got along just fine and even almost got back together. I think that when someone is hurt they say and do things that they do not mean, especially guys!

Well, you're breaking up for a reason. Because all too often they don't know how to handle rejection; they think people are judging them as being inadequate in some way and they attack you to get even. Some guys are just as sholes!

Probably because they didn't really want to break up with you and they're angry, feeling rejected or something similar. Ignore them and remember that they're only proving that you were RIGHT to break up with them!!! Good Luck and God Bless you, sweetie... Don't give up though. They're not all bad... just a little dumn sometimes. :)
