Use drywall screws to fix those areas. Put the screw in until it dimples the drywall paper but does not break through. Then spackle and sand over the screw heads and repaint. You could also sue your builder as real drywall nails are ribbed and should not be pulling out. So construction was substandard.

In an older house, the foundation is settling, causing the walls to shift and the nails are the first sign, it should not be popping nails. In a new house natural settling is happening,but should not be popping nails. Check your rafters, and walls to see if they are moving apart. Also if they skimped on the Sheetrock nails, the weight could be causing it to pop

I have found that when nails pop like that? we started using screws,they work much better and they really hold,we have found that it works really well.
