Does a document stamped by a notary stay valid, even after the expiration date on their stamp?

I have a document notarized 2 years ago I need to submit with an application. The notary's stamp says her notary license was up a couple months ago. Is the document still valid even though her term as a notary may not be?

As Seagull wrote, the document is valid. The expiration date of the notary's license, affects the notary, not the document. The license hadn't expired; so, the stamp is valid.

Probably not. If the Notary Appointment was valid at the time the document was witnessed and signed it should be valid still. Perhaps it would be better to have the document notarized or re-certified by a currently valid notary.

AS long as she was a official notary when it was signed the paper is still valid and notarized.

Any document, which is duly notorised, is valid throughout till it is revoked or cancelled.
