I act like I don't care, and then I'll say somethin back later and they act like they dont' hear me!
Or I don't get mad until 2 days later :(
-I have a strange, strange life that noone , not even me will EVER figur out completely.

I usually just ignore it, in my experience 9 times out of 10 when the person doesn't get a reaction they will move on to someone else leaving me alone, I will speak up now if it doesn't go away

I don't let it go ignored. Usually I get verbally assaulted by my ex when dropping my Daughter off or picking her up. Since he's gotten married though, his Wife and I do all the coordinating. I can stand her, I can't stand him. Why I haven't hauled off and shoved his teeth down his throat, I'll never know. :)

get a nice portable mp3 player with earphones. Should verbal violence become an issue, crank the volume up!

verbal violence really makes me feel like lashing out with physical violence just to shut the other person up!!!!! but in reality i ignore it and really does go away because they get bored shouting when no-ones listens lol.

When you reply to swearing with "thank you" and walk away, the person feels like an idiot really.

on here i try to ignore it ..but in real life i walk away..without saying a thing because most of the time the person doing it makes them look so small
