OK, please write the EXACT STEPS you did from first plugging in your ipod for the first time to actually listening to a song you transfered to your ipod from iTunes. Please, IVE BEEN TRYING AND TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK BUT MY ITUNES DOES NOT SEEM TO BE WORKING AND IM NOT ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THE NEWEST VERSION FOR SOME REASON! ONLY ANSWER IF YOU ARE GOING TO HELP ME!

OK......
1. you plug the wide end of the USB into yor ipod.
2. you plug the skinny end into your computer.
3. you go to your itunes store.
4. you then buy the songs that you want.
5. your ipod should say " DO NOT DISCONNECT"
6. Well it means what it says so don't disconnect your ipod until you are completely done downloading your songs.
7. Finally you should press the little button on the very bottom right corner of your ipod.
8. If this doesn't work then i don't know what will.
Although...... I have the new version on my computer and I don't know if the matters or not.

First, open iTunes. Wait a second then plug your iPod into the USB port. iTunes will find your iPod and then ask you what you would like to name it. Name it: example...Andrea's iPod. The Library will automatically start downloading new songs onto the iPod. Good luck!

It should've came with instructions that you can follow. I would help you, but my brother set up mine, because I didn't know how to.
