This may sound corny, but it was being with all of my family this year--no one was in Iraq this year, no one died in the past year, and no one was in the hospital.
We celebrated with the gifts, sure..but we really reveled in food, drink, and togetherness.

Truth be known mine wasn't a material possession. The fact I got to spend it with my family was enough. The fact my grandson loved what I got him was present enough for me.
