Yea both of then were born in Germany but there parents are Croatian. They're both great players and they made a good choice to play for the Croatian nation team

Because they are Croatians. You nare what you are no matter where your parents chose to go to earn some more. Those 2 and Klasnic made the right moral choice and that's why for me they are the best players in the world in matters of ethics. Just like Klose and Podolski are the worst. Even birth doesn't matter when your parents were economical migrants. Your country is only the country of origin. I would like-if I ever chose to live elsewhere and I have children there that these children know we are guests there and our home is elsewhere. And I would love to see them play against the country of residence and score 5 goals between them!

I think Niko's parents are Croatian, and Kovac's an Croatian citizen!
