My choice is A.Italy winning the World Cup.
World Cup is a very important event. Italy beat some team really strong such as France, Germany,... So the football photo of the year absolutely is Italy winning the World Cup.

Your choice is ok, but for me the best photo of the year is photo with Zinedine Zidane when he get red card, and left the game and beside him was the championship trophy, zi-zu brake the captain track.... His carier is over
