If he's not the worst ever, he's in the top two. But, I'm sure if he could run again, he'd probably win even though his rating is so low. Never underestimate the ignorance of the American voter.

no longer even close. Worst in present day historic previous is Carter. checklist severe inflation, gasoline strains, checklist severe costs of interest, led to the Iran/Iraq difficulty, bought the Panama Canal, hostage disaster etc etc. and that's in reality a start up. Ask anybody who lived throughout that era. below Bush we've been risk-free because 2001 and we've considered the inventory industry hit an all time top of 14,000. No president has carried out this. i do in contrast to maximum of the Bush rules, yet via staying out of the economic gadget we observed remarkable growth. this is, till the democrats gained congress. Now the industry is somewhat over 8,000. those present day scandals via senate democrats has somewhat injury the economic gadget. yet liberals write the historic previous books, so do no longer assume the reality to be uncomplicated to locate.

No. Try Carter. Or Harding. Or Coolidge. Or Nixon. Or Grant.

The war in Iraq cannot be entirely blamed on Bush. Congress and the Senate approved it, and the generals are blamed for poor planning.
The war on terror was inevitable. And actually, we should be GRATEFUL that a president finally decided that we couldn't take any more crap. The war on terror SHOULD have started after 1979. It's pretty sad that we waited more than two decades.
"His whole reign?" What are you, sixteen? Can you even vote yet? Don't know how to be more specific?
Take civics, and then come back to us. Otherwise, you're just another uninformed person coming over here to politics thinking you know everything just because you think President Bush is the worst president ever. Ooooh, how clever! THAT'S not something a person sees fifty times a day!

And I'm SO TIRED of all the myths about the war in Iraq. The civilian death toll in Iraq is NOT "hundreds of thousands." It's less than a hundred thousand, which is darn good as far as wars go!

Bill Clinton:
Somalia
Cole attack
Pants around his ankles

Jimmy Carter:
Interest rates around 21%
Creation of the militant Iranian state
Iranian hostage crisis
Long lines for gas
Showed weakness toward the Soviet union
Stagflation and a misery index

Clinton disgraced the oval office. At least Carter was a decent person. But his policies, no matter how well meaning were ill-conceived. Carter was the worse president and is the worse ex-president this country has ever had.

IMHO

No, Jimmy Carter is and always will be. The economy crashed, unemployment soared, and the military suffered near extinction under the Carter reign of terror.

No Jimmy Carter was by far the worst president in U.S. History.
During his presidency the "misery index" was invented.
Jimmy had the:
Highest unemployment rate since the Depression
Highest Inflation Rate in US History.
Highest rate of foreclosed homes.
Stock Market Worst performing since the crash of 29.
Commander in Chief while we were embarrassed repeatedly by Iran during the Hostage crisis. To this day the Iranians think we are weak because of Jimmy Carter.
By the way why do you think George W is a bad president because of his war on terror?

Yes he is. Let's not forget that even the pitiful Jimmy Carter who was put down for his abysmal job creation, actually created more jobs in his 4 year term than GW has in his term and 1/2. Also "claims" to be conservative while NEVER vetoing a spending bill and making gov't larger than ever. Wow, worst ever is really too kind..lol

Though it is debatable, he definitely is a very serious contender for the notorious designation. 3000 of our best soldiers sacrificied for no reason, hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians, introduction of terrorism into Iraq, lies about WMDs and reasons to invade Iraq, continued stubborn insistence that he is right and honest - it is hard to find anyone else to match this guy's records in history.
