Don't worry she is dead and the meanie will never return! That is: lying to her friends and family by saying she's got a brain tumour (trying to split Martin and Sonia up) trashing Martin's fruit and veg stall and giving it back to the council and now he doesn't have a job and this is the worst one... TRYING TO STEAL REBECCA FROM SONIA! she is a filthy little b***h. I am glad she is dead. She died walking out of Doctor May's porch (as she had a pain in her head.) So she walked out of Doctor May's porch without speaking to her, clutching her head and Rebecca's present in her hand. She strolls across the Square and looks at the Queen Vic. Then still clutching her head, holding Betty and beside the bench of her late beloved husband, Arthur, suddenly.... she collapses! Rebecca, Martin, Sonia, Dot and Jim are in the Vic and it starts to snow. They play in the snow and Dot finds Pauline and she screams for Martin. He comes rushing over to his mum and announces to everyone it's too late... she's dead. She died on Christmas Day which I am not surprised it is always something sad happening on Christmas Day in Albert Square! Well she was still a legend so I will miss her in some ways.

Why would she return. Supposedly she wanted to go because she wasn't happy with the direction Pauline was taking. Do you mean returning in another soap? Maybe the Bill as a victim of crime or Corrie as Eileen Grimshaw's mum.

I don't think she will, as i heard that the reason the actress left, was because she didn't agree with the new script writers, when they remarried her, she thought that the character(Pauline) would have stayed true to Arther's memory. Although older viewers will remember that leading up to his death Arther had actually been having a affair for sometime, of which Pauline never forgave him.
Not bad for someone that doesn't watch it huh ! (telly broke in May)!

i hope she NEVER returns! she was SO annoying! if she did return she could come back as one of betty's pups! Pauline fowler makes my mum look normal!

I saw her on Richard and Judy and she has well retired.
A great career move would be to come back as Mrs Slocombe in 'Are You Being Served'.
I hope she gets a decent hairdresser as part of the package....

I don't know, but after the all the hype, all she did was keel over and die. Very disappointing.
However, in Emmerdale now the whodunnit over Tom King's death is a true cliffhanger. It could be anyone of them, can't wait to see who it was! (Actually his over-acting was getting on my nerves but it wasn't me however tempting!!!)
