I am a teen and out of all of my friends,
I am the only one that likes soaps

That would be 'soap operas'. I watch as much as I can. When I was a teen in high school, most of my friends watched the same ones. Back in the day, it was channel 10, CBS soaps, now it's the same soaps, but on a different network.
Most young girls I thought liked to watch them because it's sort of a fantasy of what they want their lives to be like. That's the whole reason I started to watch with my gramdmother. I wanted to be the woman who got to kiss Snapper Foster, now I would love to be Katie Peretti-Casnov, so I can wrap myself aroud Mike Casnov! Where do they find those incredible men!

I am a teen and I still watch soaps even my sisters who aren't teens still watch it. I think it's nice, it doesn't mean u are childish or anything. Soap oprahs are nice.

I am no longer a teen, and I no longer watch Soap Operas..... but when I was a teen, I watched Days of our Lives, everyday.
You're not alone, my friends did too. I recorded it when I was at school, came home, did my homework while watching DOOLs.

No you aren't. I got into watching soap operas when I was in my early teens and I would discuss it with my friends at school. So you aren't alone and its not weird.

no, alot of teens watch soap operas. i've been watching them since i was 13. i started watching days of our lives and then passions.
