I think New Year is the best.
There is no pressure to gather gifts for everyone and no added pressure to make sure they like the things or that it's something they can take back.
The New Year is a sign of progression, a symbol of making it through another year of trials and overcoming them.
New Year can be significantly prosperous in many ways where Christmas is the same ol' dread every year.
The birth of Messiah Jesus Christ. Everyone seems to be getting away from that.

Happy New Year!

I'm not a competitive person, and I got out of the habit of trying to make judgements about "best: - which is the best meal, which is the best band, which is the best holiday.

I enjoy each for what it is - Christmas for the sense of celebration, and the memories it brings. New Year's for the anticipation and possibilities, and the memories it brings. Each has a different feeling, each has different kinds of parties.

So I don't enjoy one more than the other - I enjoy each one differently.

New Years. Christmas is a lot of pressure and craziness - New Year's is a lot more easygoing.
