What happened to Dave Kent on Sunny 93.9? First Madison Lane leaves in August out of no where, now Dave Kent is gone and is being replace by this new morning show with Whoopi Goldberg, which in my opinion is horrible. And also, its not even called Sunny 93.9 anymore, its The New Kiss 93.9 FM. Does anyone know what happened to Dave Kent and Sunny 93.9?

93.9 has changed it's format to something called "Rhythmic AC", whatever that is. Anyway, it means that Whoopi is the new morning show. Dave Kent has been moved to afternoons.

I agree with others who have spoken out on this question. It's day 2 of the new format, and I changed the station first thing yesterday. Madison and Dave were great and made my morning so much better, then Dave alone was good too. What's next? Why change a good thing? I've changed my station and doubt I will go back. Hope someone tells 'KISS 93.9' how we all feel.

I loved Dave Kent in the mornings. I'm not sure why the so-called brains at 93.9 thought new was better. I have now switched to 101.5. I loved the old 93.9. I will NOT listen to Whoopi in the mornings. It's bad enough to have to get up in the mornings....but to listen to her as well??? NOT!!!!

I don't know, but I wish I knew. Please someone answer. I hate the new 93.9 I have changed my station, I have been a listener to 93.9 for years. I wish Dave well.

Madison and Dave made the drive to work enjoyable. I really enjoyed the format: little of this; a little of that; always a laugh. Time to change the radio channel.
