Yes, but that window are our eyes and how we perceive things. Tunnel vision.

Yes and/or no. It depends on the people itself. If you let yourself being influenced then you are influenced by the,. If you decide not to, then you will not being influenced. It's also depend on the view. Do you want your life being influenced by stranger's point of view? I don't think so.
