It's hurd to find the answer but there is an analogy. Living together, people come in touch with different problems and have to accomodate themselves to each other. It's like a tree. It grows freely, but there is another one near it. They both would have to make their roots and branches so that to get water and sun. If the trees have the same conditions - they grow alike.

Becuase over time they become one. I have seen it many times in my church becuase our people actually stayed married to the same person their whole lives.
Its the "oneness" of a good solid marriage. I have seen it and I know exactly what you are talking about.

Believe this or not many married people choose partners that often look like or, have similarities like themselves so, it's not withstanding, that they'll look like themselves as they get older.

because marriage makes people become one. love one. eat one. sleep one.. get it?? u love the one who u married so naturally u see what he/she sees, feel what he/she feels..so when ur life partner is fat or thin , u will likely end up the same way if u really love him/her the way he/she is. unless u wanna be the perfect one and leave ur loved one ugly all alone.....that's a different story.
