I am in a similar position to you. You are probably doing most of this but I find the following helpful:
- Don't eat a big meal or drink anything with caffeine ( like tea, coffee, fizzy drinks) a good three hours before you go to bed. Have a glass of milk - warm or cold - I flavour it with milk shake mix or bananas.
- Don't watch TV right before you go to bed as I think this keeps me awake. I read for at least 30 minutes or have a bath.
- I use two pillows in bed to make a 'nest' and support my bump - one under my ' bump' to support it, one near my knees to rest them on.
- Try relaxation techniques like clenching then relaxing each bit of your body in turn or just taking slow and deep breaths and counting to ten. Also trying to remember what you did on your last holiday or weekend off. I try not to think or worry about anything to do with the baby or pregnancy as this keeps me awake.

If I'm not asleep in an hour I don't just lie there as you end up just worrying about it getting later and later. I get up and have a milky drink or read for an hour until I am zonked out.

I'm told sleeplessness is just part of the third trimester though so we shouldn't worry too much! Good luck.

smelling lavendar is ok like in an oil burner but it shouldnt be applied to the skin.

im only 12wks and struggling to sleep.

found a bath and chammomile tea before bed helps and so does the oil burner with lavendar.

thankfully if im really restless my bf massages my feet and it sends me out like a light!

Put your mind on the edge of your nose and be know that air flow-in and out through your nose as you are breathing when you are laying in bed to sleep. Another way is counting number 1,2,3,4,....... etc..when you are in bed. Do not think about anything else. Soon, you will be in sleep deeply and wake-up freshly in the morning.
