I immediately thought of the Salvadore Dali painting. I would have to make it a computer animated picture of an ever expanding circle. Circles keep starting from the center and spin as they get larger and larger, then when they've been expanding for 30 seconds they disappear. They disappear at the outer edge because the screen would not hold any larger.

Best question I've read all week.
If I drew a picture of time it would be a
Clock with all the numbers replaced with 0's on a shelf and a old man lifting a young child who is trying to reach the clock but can't and on the floor at their feet would be the numbers.

This idea may not be as original as some of the others, but it came immediately to mind when I read your question.

Have you seen the sign they used in the late 60's early 70's to signify infinity? It's the numeral 8, but laying on its side. I believe it is supposed to mean time which never begins or ends.

Hope it helps :)

I think of time as a matter of aging yet coming around to newness again and again. I guess in my mind the perfect rendition of time is Father Time, being born, slowly aging as the year goes by then turning over the new year to the next babe. Thus starting the cycle of birth, growth then death all over again.

Time would be a dusty wind, with periods of seasons.....

From the left to the right, the wind would prevail across all, on the very left would be spring, next to it would be summer, then fall, and ultimately winter.....

all these things make up time....... It is as a man's life..... Fresh and new through the winter of his life's sojourn. Time... is the wind that continues whether new or old.....

Yet, it is different to all.....

Ginger

a snail moving ever forward-------and occassionally as we watch the snail it seems to speed up or slow down but that is our mind playing tricks on us depending on how busy or bored we are - the snail continues forward at the same pace into eternity.
